The Sourcing Assistant plays an important role in the development process, mainly assisting the sourcing specialist or team with the fabric design, research and development, testing and coordination. Here are key responsibilities of a development assistant:
1. Market research and trend analysis: Responsible for collecting and analyzing the latest trends, popular elements and consumer needs in the fabric market, providing data support.
2. Fabric sample sorting and archiving: Assist in sorting and archiving fabric samples, ensure the accuracy and completeness of sample information, facilitate the subsequent development and testing work.
3. Assist development: Under the guidance of Management , participate in the formulation and modification of fabric design schemes, assist in the completion of preliminary design and testing of fabrics.
4. Fabric performance testing and evaluation: Assist in fabric performance testing, record and analyze the test results to provide basis for fabric improvement.
5. Supply chain coordination and communication: maintain close contact with suppliers, coordinate fabric production schedule , and ensure fabric delivery Ｏn time.
6. Technical support and documentation: Prepare and organize technical documents in the process of development, including design schemes, test reports, product manuals, etc., to provide data support for the Management.
7. Cross-departmental collaboration and communication:
Maintain communication with design, production, sales and other departments to ensure smooth information transfer in the process of development to meet the needs of all parties.
